Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual assessments and gather medical histories from patients

• Identify and manage psychiatric disorders

• Prescribe and oversee medication management in line with clinical protocols and supervision guidelines

• Create, execute, and modify personalized treatment strategies

• Track patient progress, safety, and responses to treatment

• Address clinical concerns appropriately

• Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary care teams, physicians, care coordinators, clinical colleagues, and operational partners

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EHR

• Adhere to telehealth, prescribing, and compliance regulations

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to adult patients participating in virtual programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in psychiatric care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred

• Active PA or NP license in good standing

• NP board certification or completion of an accredited PA program

• Must possess or be actively pursuing licensure in Vermont and/or Pennsylvania

• Strong clinical judgment is essential

• Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions

• Comfortable adhering to clinical protocols and supervision requirements

• Team-oriented and collaborative approach

• Proficient in using and adapting to EHRs, telehealth platforms, and digital communication and workflow tools

• Availability of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility according to program needs
