Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Part Time - 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional, innovative tele-psychiatry services to Headspace patients using a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes within 24 hours following each session.

• Maintain a personalized database to document proof of licensure, updates, expiration dates, and personal information.

• Stay informed with clinical leadership communications by checking and responding to emails promptly.

• Collaborate with a care team that includes health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers, participating in weekly all-team meetings and consultation groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability for a minimum of 8 hours per week.

• Flexibility for night and weekend shifts is an advantage.

• Must possess PMHNP-BC credentials with an accredited nurse practitioner program completion.

• Licensure across multiple states is highly preferred, especially in KS, OR, DE, IA, ID, ME, MT, SD, AK, DC, HI, ND, NE, VT, or WY.

• Cross-licensed and/or willing to obtain cross-licensure in several full scope of practice states.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychiatric services.

• Experience in tele-psychiatry is highly regarded.

• Must be willing and confident in integrating advanced technology into all facets of care.

• Demonstrated clinical competence in psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.).

• Ability to apply current research into your practice.

• Familiarity, comfort, and confidence with various technologies including applications, tech tools, Google web-apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc.

• **Tech-savviness is essential.**

• Currently not employed by any of Headspace’s direct competitors.
