Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – CA Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment to adults and seniors experiencing mental health disorders.

• Create customized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.

• Manage psychiatric conditions through the use of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacological methods.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Identify patients suitable for interventional psychiatry, such as TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and initiate the referral process.

• Maintain precise medical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulations.

• Assist in managing specialty clinics and provide personalized, effective care in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing.

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

• Active DEA registration.

• Current BLS certification.

• An active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California.

• NP103 status is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with TMS and Spravato is advantageous, though not required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
