Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments and collaboratively create treatment plans with clients that may involve medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Regularly follow up with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of the recommended interventions.

• Deliver ongoing care until the established treatment objectives are met.

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities alongside medication management, as preferred by clients.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Indiana.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• Valid Indiana Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification is necessary.

• Indiana DEA Certification required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong skills in assessment.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• A driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional setting for conducting tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Comfortable delivering various forms of talk therapy.

• Must be available during operational hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week is required.
