Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Carry out initial assessments with clients.

• Work together to create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Conduct monthly follow-ups with clients to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and provide ongoing care until treatment objectives are met.

• Offer a range of talk therapy modalities in conjunction with medication management.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric appointments for clients located in Rhode Island.

• Establish a self-directed schedule within the operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and physician partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.

• Valid Rhode Island Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• DEA Certification.

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong skills in assessment.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Proficient in providing various forms of talk therapy.

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.

• Availability to work within the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Weekend availability required.

• 1099 contract work arrangement.
