Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments of clients

• Collaboratively create treatment plans with clients that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both

• Actively follow up with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed interventions and ongoing care until treatment objectives are met

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities in conjunction with medication management as appropriate

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Massachusetts

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree

• Current Massachusetts Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• DEA Certification

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong skills in assessment

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Driven, client-focused work ethic

• Personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week

• Must be available to work during operational hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Comfortable in providing various types of talk therapy

• Required to hold a Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License
