Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments

• Collaboratively create treatment strategies with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both

• Maintain proactive follow-up with clients at least once a month

• Evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and ongoing care until treatment objectives are met

• Deliver a variety of talk therapy methods alongside medication management as necessary

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Kentucky

• Establish a personalized schedule within operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree

• Current Kentucky Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• KY DEA Certification

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong assessment capabilities

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Driven, client-focused work ethic

• Must possess a personal computer

• Must have a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week

• Availability to work Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts

• Comfortable in providing various forms of talk therapy

• Position offered on a 1099 compensation basis
