Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments and collaboratively create treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Regularly follow up with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of recommended interventions and provide ongoing care until treatment objectives are met.

• Deliver various forms of talk therapy alongside medication management as deemed appropriate.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Connecticut.

• Develop and manage a personal schedule within operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and the wider expert team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

• Valid Connecticut Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• CT DEA Certification.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong assessment capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry appointments.

• Should be comfortable providing various types of talk therapy.

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.

• Availability during weekdays and weekends.

• 1099 contract work arrangement.
