Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments within a hospital-based clinic environment.

• Provide medication management and continuous psychiatric care for adult patients.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary behavioral health professionals throughout the continuum of care.

• Facilitate high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric treatment planning and follow-up.

• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation is maintained.

• Foster a collegial practice atmosphere that emphasizes access, continuity, and clinical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree - Successful completion of an accredited psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program.

• Prior experience working autonomously in mental health and addiction is highly desirable.

• Must hold a Licensed Registered Nurse certification from the MN Board of Nursing upon hiring.

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) within the specialty is required at the time of hire.

• A Licensed Nurse Practitioner credential is necessary.

• BLS Tier 2 - Multisource certification is required within 180 days.

• Drug Enforcement Administration registration is mandatory upon hiring.
