Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Women's Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive and holistic psychiatric care to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth model.

• Operate within a care framework that emphasizes clinical quality and collaboration with the client's Seven Starling therapist.

• This role is structured as a 1099 contract, with an expected workload of approximately 5-10 hours per week.

• Perform 60-minute intake assessments and 20-30 minute follow-up sessions, utilizing your clinical judgment to decide the appropriate length of each session.

• Adapt to and thrive in an early-stage startup environment, actively contributing to the development of workflows and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active Board Certified PMHNP license in good standing in Virginia (VA).

• Preference will be given to candidates who hold at least three additional state licenses in our current and upcoming markets.

• RN Compact licensure is preferred; no DEA registration is required (we do not prescribe controlled substances).

• A minimum of one year of experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population is required.

• At least six months of experience working in a telehealth setting.

• Strong understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and psychiatric care considerations during the perinatal and perimenopausal/menopausal stages.

• Should be grounded in evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans and guide clinical care.

• Must be an empathetic and intuitive listener with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to adapt and be motivated to grow within an early-stage startup, contributing to evolving workflows while upholding high-quality mental health care.

• Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic health records, and Google Suite, alongside a willingness to learn new programs efficiently.
