Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform initial and follow-up telehealth assessments.

• Provide care for both substance use disorders and mental health issues.

• Prescribe medications as necessary and respond to member inquiries.

• Maintain documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (Healthie).

• Collaborate with your care team and participate in occasional scheduled team meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and verifiable PMHNP license (Medicaid enrollment is advantageous) in the states where you practice, as well as in your state of residence if it differs from Illinois.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment. Relevant prior experience will be taken into account for candidates with less than 2 years of experience as a PMHNP.

• Experience in prescribing Suboxone and a current DEA registration.

• Willingness to pursue multi-state licensure (costs covered by Affect).

• Compassion for members dealing with behavioral health challenges.

• Proficiency in using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.
