Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP – Contract / 1099

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Create individualized treatment plans and manage medication that caters to the specific needs of each patient.

• Dedicate sufficient time to patients and families to fully understand their experiences, educate them on treatment options, and provide continuous support.

• Track patient progress against care objectives, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure favorable outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with therapists and other healthcare professionals to devise integrated treatment plans that consider the whole child.

• Offer consultation and education to patients and their families, aiding them in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and how to support their child's mental health journey.

• Supervise diagnostic testing, including digital and laboratory results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current PMHNP license in Pennsylvania.

• At least 2 years of experience working independently as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults under any nursing license.

• Board Certification by ANCC or AANP (PMHNP-BC).

• DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority License.

• Access to a computer, phone, and high-speed internet.

• Proficiency in Google Suite, EHR systems, and general tech knowledge.

• Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
