This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medications, and provide ongoing care for the Medicaid population.
• Oversee the administrative aspects — including scheduling, billing, and insurance — to ensure a primary focus on patient care.
• A valid, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in New York State.
• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Prescriptive authority along with an active DEA registration.
• Experience in performing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications, whether under supervision or independently.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other digital tools.
• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office environment for secure virtual sessions.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish fluency is preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Strong clinical judgment in managing psychiatric conditions across various populations.
• A patient-centered approach to medication management and treatment planning.
• Experience collaborating with therapists and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
