Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Michigan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Delivers direct patient care focused on medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments.

• Educates patients about medications, including their risks, benefits, and realistic outcome expectations.

• Collaborates effectively with support staff to ensure clear patient communication and follow-up.

• Engages in treatment team meetings.

• Assists Medical Directors with tasks that involve direct patient interaction as necessary.

• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director.

• This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with an expectation of 32 hours dedicated to clinical work and 8 hours to administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to support the Charlie Health team on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis; remote work is encouraged.

• Holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health focus from an accredited institution.

• Must possess a license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PMHNP is required; experience in IOP, PHP, and/or IP settings is preferred.

• Experience working with a diverse age range, including children, teens, young adults, and adult clients.

• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.

• Proficient in communicating and collaborating with medical staff, patients, clinical support, and administrative personnel.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health records.

• Requires computer literacy and internet proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
