This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments and establish evidence-based diagnoses.
• Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Prescribe and oversee psychotropic medications, evaluate their effectiveness, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Offer brief interventions and psychoeducation in conjunction with medication management.
• Work alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators during regular case discussions.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Inform families about diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and expectations.
• Valid and unrestricted Illinois PMHNP license (multi-state or compact licensure is preferred).
• PMHNP-BC board certification.
• Active DEA license.
• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program.
• Experience with, or a strong interest in, working with youth and families.
• Ability to work independently in a telehealth setting.
• Excellent clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and authentic empathy.
