This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age groups.
• Manage psychopharmacological treatments for all diagnosed psychiatric conditions.
• Data waivered (or willing to learn) to provide medication-assisted treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder in active withdrawal or recovery.
• Provide supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and demonstrate proficiency in trauma-informed care, harm reduction strategies, and patient-centered treatments.
• Show expertise in care coordination among psychiatric, substance use treatment, and medical integration.
• Offer direct support for scheduled and walk-in patients.
• Complete validated rating scales documentation and treatment plans to help assess the level of care needed.
• Coordinate care for patients, including psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer support, housing, and other identified social determinants.
• Engage directly with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care providers, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, counseling staff, peer support personnel, and care coordinators.
• Hold an active and unrestricted medical license in both the state of primary residence and the state where medical services are delivered.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (required).
• Possess a DEA license.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
