
PSM Sales Engineer, Power Switching Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Socomec’s Power Switching & Monitoring (PSM) product lineup.
• Oversee and assist current partners within the region, aiding in their daily commercial and technical operations.
• Identify and cultivate sales opportunities for PSM products within the designated territory.
• Prepare, manage, and track quotations diligently.
• Serve as a PSM expert, collaborating closely with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Introduce new Socomec technologies to key end users, consultants, design-and-build contractors, and specifiers.
• Work in partnership with colleagues across Critical Power, Energy Efficiency, Power Control & Safety, and Energy Storage to enhance the value of each opportunity.
• Gain a robust understanding of how Socomec products fit within a customer’s electrical systems.
• Clearly communicate the technical and financial advantages of Socomec solutions and how they stack up against competitors.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical sales role within the electrical engineering sector, focusing on similar products.
• Experience in selling through the IT channel or collaborating with specialized electrical VARs is a plus.
• A background or qualification in electrical or electronic engineering is required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
