This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Foster the generation of new revenue streams by collaborating with sales and client management teams for both new and existing accounts.
• Spearhead the solutions discovery process, focusing on the technical, functional, and overall value proposition of our retailer and brand offerings.
• Prepare and conduct sales presentations, proofs-of-concept, strategic recommendations, and product demonstrations both in-person and through screen share-hosted meetings.
• Assess the business goals of prospective and current clients, along with their data and systems integration requirements, to recommend effective strategies tailored to their needs.
• Develop and present ROI analyses and business cases that illustrate revenue impact, margin enhancement, and risk mitigation for economic buyers and C-suite stakeholders.
• Engage with economic buyers and executive stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, translating technical capabilities into narratives that demonstrate business impact and facilitate deal progression.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs with well-structured and value-oriented responses.
• Aggregate and prioritize client feedback, competitive insights, and industry information to advocate for improvements in product and service delivery.
• Relay market feedback to product management and service teams to inform future developments and service offerings.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless and strategic transition to service teams, providing documentation of goals and requirements established during the sales cycle.
• A minimum of 3 years of presales consultative experience or direct management of an ecommerce program generating over $10 million in GMV, including hands-on experience with channel management or marketplace integration platforms.
• Residency in Central or Eastern Time Zones.
• A motivated, polished, and technology-savvy professional.
• Hands-on experience assisting teams in closing six-figure contracts against seven-figure targets.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing a formal value-selling framework (e.g., MEDDICC or equivalent) in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, capable of constructing and defending business cases at the executive and finance levels.
• Insight into common challenges faced by clients within the retail and/or e-commerce sectors.
• Familiarity with the retail partner ecosystem, including marketplaces.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) to enhance outcomes, including communication drafting, data analysis, prompt engineering, and/or documentation.
