PSM (Power Switching Monitoring) Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Socomec’s Power Switching & Monitoring (PSM) product portfolio.

• Manage and provide support to current partners within the region, aiding their daily commercial and technical operations.

• Identify and cultivate sales opportunities for PSM products within the designated territory.

• Prepare, oversee, and follow up on quotations.

• Serve as a PSM expert, closely collaborating with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled.

• Introduce new Socomec technologies to key end users, consultants, design-and-build contractors, and specifiers.

• Work alongside colleagues in Critical Power, Energy Efficiency, Power Control & Safety, and Energy Storage to maximize the potential of each opportunity.

• Gain a thorough understanding of how Socomec products fit into a customer's electrical infrastructure.

• Effectively communicate the technical and financial advantages of Socomec solutions and how they stack up against competitor offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical sales position within the electrical engineering industry, selling similar products.

• Previous experience selling through the IT channel or collaborating with specialized electrical VARs is preferred.

• A background or qualification in electrical or electronic engineering is required.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
