Protection and Controls Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Accountable for a comprehensive range of tasks aimed at assessing, maintaining, and enhancing the efficiency, utilization, productivity, and quality of manufacturing work units.

• Execute engineering functions to meet production, quality, and cost targets.

• Evaluate customer technical specifications and offer insightful recommendations.

• Investigate and interpret industry standards.

• Design or develop workflows, conduct simulation tests, select appropriate materials, and create product specifications.

• Engage in cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

• Carry out engineering investigations and compile findings.

• Collaborate with other departmental teams to fulfill project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Computer Science or an equivalent technical qualification.

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

• Strong analytical capabilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with the interpretation of design, performance, and standards applicable to the electrical industry.

• Competent project management skills.
