• Oversee the Proposals Team during the bidding process and manage the technical components of applications across all markets requiring Low Voltage Switchgear ("LV SWG").
• Assist in the initial phases of project sales cycles.
• Address contractual challenges and facilitate negotiations for the sale of LV SWG.
• Develop competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by evaluating the optimal product mix along with relevant technical and commercial factors for each case.
• Ensure tenders are thoroughly documented promptly and with the necessary level of detail, including comprehensive and accurate cost assessments.
• Direct and coordinate the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and, when necessary, project management elements of the bid, estimate, and quotation, detailing prices and trading conditions.
• Regularly report on the status of bids, estimates, and quotations using established tools and gather and analyze reasons for both successful and unsuccessful tenders.
• Recognize potential risks within bids, quotations, estimates, and associated contract agreements across various customers/channels and take suitable actions.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• More than 10 years of experience in Proposals, Quotations, or a related area.
• Direct industry experience or experience in a similar sector is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with Low Voltage Switchgears is greatly valued for this position.
• Proficiency in Change Management.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous for effective communication with the global team associated with this role.
• Candidates must already possess authorization to work in the US for ABB.
