This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Full responsibility for the complete Request for Proposals (RFP) process from initiation to completion.
• Review RFP documentation, including study protocols, and assign suitable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Facilitate the development of proposals by coordinating strategic and operational areas while ensuring compliance with the Decisions Right policy.
• Prepare and adjust strategic proposals and budgets based on feedback from SMEs and client needs.
• Oversee the RFP process, identify potential obstacles, and implement effective strategies to mitigate them.
• Acquire third-party quotes as necessary, ensuring alignment with RFP specifications and client communication.
• Maintain precise documentation in relevant systems for tracking metrics and KPIs.
• Overall management of contract processes across specific or diverse accounts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Legal, Business Development, and Finance to prepare, review, and negotiate contracts.
• Develop contract standards tailored to specific accounts, including budget presentations, payment terms, and standard language.
• Create, negotiate, and finalize contracts in accordance with departmental SOPs and guidelines.
• Revise project budgets in collaboration with project and functional teams.
• Formulate contract strategies and delivery plans with clear accountability and timelines.
• Proactively lead and facilitate client meetings to negotiate costs and terms.
• Identify and manage contractual issues that require input from finance, tax, or other internal stakeholders.
• Ensure quality deliverables are met within strict deadlines, providing proper rationale for any cost changes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of prior experience in contracting or proposals within a CRO or similar environment.
• Extensive experience in proposals and contract management, including knowledge of contractual terms, pricing structures, pricing tools, and data systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Strong understanding of clinical study conduct across various operational aspects and global regions is a plus.
• Familiarity with managing client contract processes, accounts, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with a strong capacity to multitask effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of cash flow and revenue recognition.
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.
