This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Full responsibility for the complete Request for Proposals (RFP) process from initial receipt to final delivery.

• Review RFP documentation, including study protocols, and assign suitable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

• Facilitate the development of proposals by coordinating both strategic and operational areas while ensuring compliance with the Decisions Right policy.

• Prepare and adjust strategic proposals and budgets based on feedback from SMEs and client needs.

• Oversee the RFP process, identifying potential obstacles and executing effective mitigation strategies.

• Acquire third-party quotes as necessary, ensuring they align with RFP specifications and client communications.

• Maintain precise documentation within relevant systems for metrics and KPI tracking.

• Hold overall management responsibility for contract processes across specific or diverse accounts.

• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Legal, Business Development, and Finance to prepare, review, and negotiate contracts.

• Develop contract standards tailored to accounts, including budget presentations, payment terms, and standard language.

• Create, negotiate, and finalize contracts in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.

• Amend project budgets in collaboration with project and functional teams.

• Formulate contract strategies and delivery plans with clear accountability and timelines.

• Proactively lead and facilitate client meetings to negotiate costs and terms.

• Identify and manage contractual issues that require input from finance, tax, or other internal stakeholders.

• Ensure that quality deliverables meet stringent deadlines, providing appropriate justification for any cost changes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• 4-6 years of prior experience in contracting or proposals within a CRO or similar setting.

• Extensive experience in proposal and contract management, including contractual terms, pricing structures, pricing tools, and data systems (e.g., Salesforce).

• Strong comprehension of clinical study conduct across various operational aspects and global regions - preferred.

• Knowledge of managing client contract processes, accounts, and reporting.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multitask.

• In-depth understanding of cash flow and revenue recognition.

• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in written and verbal English.
