• Assist Navitus in acquiring and retaining clients by crafting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and various sales-related documents for diverse client audiences.
• Engage in sales support tasks that may encompass project coordination (such as planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordinating), follow-up correspondence, and reporting.
• Employ expert-level editing, grammar, and writing abilities to guarantee that all written outputs align with and reflect tactical, strategic, financial, and sales-capture decisions.
• Develop and maintain a robust understanding of target markets and trends within business units, as well as how the products and services can be utilized in those markets.
• Apply strong project management skills to initiate, gather, and deliver analytical tasks in collaboration with cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and effective time management by creating and adhering to strict timelines.
• Assist in managing proposal content and departmental processes to ensure materials remain current and competitive.
• Contribute to the department's objective of enhancing efficiency and effectiveness by identifying opportunities to streamline departmental processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, ideally in English, Journalism, or a Communications-related discipline, or equivalent proposal management experience is required.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in the following areas: crafting creative, concise, strategically sound, and persuasive proposals (writing samples and a writing test are required).
• Experience in developing and executing complex winning business strategies while integrating a consultative sales approach.
• Ability to deliver quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment where tight deadlines are commonplace.
• Experience in strategic proposal content development and project management or similar relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products at an advanced level.
• Engage in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to consistently interact with colleagues in a cooperative and respectful manner.
