This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Aids in the coordination and preparation of fundamental scientific documents under direct supervision.
• Responsible for generating and refining scientific documents to meet or surpass quality expectations.
• Supports the design, preparation, and review of analytical protocols for validation or analytical studies.
• Prepares and/or assists in the creation of scientific documents, such as next time point creates or other basic shell development.
• Ensures that both hardcopy and electronic reports are consistent and adhere to necessary formats.
• Reviews data tables and listings, ensuring that any errors are rectified.
• Edits and conducts a quality control review of scientific documents before the final PDF deliverable is created.
• Ensures compliance with PPD, Client, eCTD policy, and procedure regarding publications.
• Reviews technical documents for precision, formatting, consistency, and adherence to protocols or SOPs.
• May represent the laboratory on project teams and provide updates to team members on the status of study reports.
• Acts as a liaison on interdepartmental projects where reports are necessary.
• Stays informed on the guidelines and requirements set by the FDA and other international regulatory agencies for reference in developing required documents.
• May assist in writing Training Materials Documents and Standard Operating Procedures related to Scientific Writing functions.
• Collaborates with more senior staff on strategies for new assignments.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Prior experience that imparts the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job (equivalent to at least 2 years) or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of scientific terminology, medical, pharmaceutical, and research concepts.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and the generation of tables and graphs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Good editorial and proofreading skills.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
