This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Perform searches on Canadian bidding platforms (such as MERX and Biddingo) to identify newly released RFPs or modifications to ongoing RFPs.
• Oversee the entire proposal process, which includes writing, project management, content creation, coordinating contributions, review cycles, and final submission.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Account Executives, and other subject matter experts, to assess opportunities, devise winning strategies, and craft client-oriented proposal content.
• Work alongside senior leaders and business partners to create strategic messaging that effectively showcases the organization's capabilities, products, and services in alignment with corporate goals.
• Partner with Clinical, Operations, and Quality teams throughout the organization to collect, validate, and synthesize information for proposals and business development efforts.
• Engage in regular team meetings to foster content strategy, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Edit and format proposal submissions to guarantee a professional presentation, clear messaging, and a polished final product.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of proposal documents to ensure compliance, consistency, accuracy, and conformity to Homewood Health brand standards.
• Maintain and enhance the proposal content library, templates, and knowledge management resources to facilitate efficient and consistent proposal development.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in creative business writing, including proposal writing.
• Experience in the Employee Assistance Program, Disability Management, insurance, benefits, or healthcare sectors would be advantageous.
• Capability to perform effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build productive relationships and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposal and business development projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
• Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent command of the English language, coupled with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in French would be considered a plus.
