Senior Proposal Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete development and submission of RFPs, RFIs, and other materials intended for clients.

• Conduct strategy discussions regarding proposals in collaboration with Business Development, Account Management, Finance, Clinical, Product, Operations, Legal, and executive leadership.

• Create competitive and unique solutions that enhance access to specialty pharmaceutical products, services, and manufacturer programs.

• Recognize proposal risks, opportunities, and winning strategies in conjunction with internal stakeholders.

• Generate, write, edit, customize, and ensure quality assurance for proposal responses.

• Investigate and partner with subject matter experts to produce accurate, compliant, and persuasive content.

• Coordinate pricing-related elements of proposals and ensure alignment of deliverables.

• Confirm that responses meet client requirements, adhere to internal policies, and follow approval processes.

• Maintain and improve proposal content libraries and response databases.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives, process enhancements, and departmental programs.

• Promote best practices, standard operating procedures, governance processes, and quality standards.

• Utilize proposal management technologies and AI-driven tools to enhance productivity and response quality.

• Mentor, train, and assist team members while encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Over 5 years of experience in proposal writing, sales support, business development support, or a related field.

• Proven experience managing complex RFP, RFI, and proposal responses from strategy to submission.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

• Capable of developing proposal content with minimal guidance.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred knowledge of specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, pharmaceutical manufacturer services, healthcare, or related sectors.

• Skilled at managing competing priorities, navigating ambiguity, and working independently with little guidance.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Proficient in effectively communicating with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes without direct authority.

• Proven project management capabilities and ability to handle multiple concurrent deadlines.

• Strong analytical, research, and content development skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality and accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, collaboration tools, and proposal/content management systems.

• Reliable broadband or fiber optic home internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed when working remotely.
