Proposal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete proposal lifecycle from the receipt of RFP to submission.

• Manage the entire proposal development process, which includes compliance, scheduling, drafting, editing, and final submission.

• Create and refine high-quality, customer-oriented proposal content and tailored responses.

• Construct proposal outlines, compliance matrices, key win themes, and executive summaries.

• Coordinate contributions from subject matter experts (SMEs), sales, marketing, legal, finance, and HR teams.

• Lead and facilitate proposal reviews, interviews, and debrief sessions.

• Ensure quality assurance, consistency, and compliance with WPO standards.

• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities while suggesting improvements.

• Maintain and enhance content within the proposal content library.

• Monitor proposal metrics and foster continuous improvement initiatives.

• Mentor junior proposal team members and assist in internal training programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in proposal writing or a similar role.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Exceptional English writing, editing, and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in French is required.

• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and InDesign.

• Solid understanding of proposal strategy, win themes, and document design.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines with precision and detail-oriented focus.
