This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take charge of the entire proposal lifecycle, from the initial pursuit kickoff to the final submission, overseeing both the process and writing aspects — which include managing timelines, conducting reviews, and coordinating with the team to ensure every submission is compliant and of high quality.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous proposal initiatives spanning various government solicitations, such as RFPs, RFIs, White Papers, Grants, BAAs, Task Orders, IDIQ contracts, OTAs, and SBIR/STTR programs.
• Ensure adherence to procurement regulations including FAR, DFARS, GSA schedules, and GWACs during all submissions.
• Investigate and pinpoint strategic government opportunities that align with Spear AI's business goals, proactively managing the pipeline.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of Spear AI's products and capabilities to independently craft compelling technical and operational content for proposals and white papers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build trust, understand each team's narrative, and translate expert insights into persuasive proposal content.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, synthesizing their insights into clear, customized narratives, proactively connecting the dots rather than waiting for others to fill in the gaps.
• Oversee collaborative proposal activities with prime contractors and subcontractors, ensuring strategic alignment throughout the process.
• Continuously enhance and optimize Spear AI's proposal development processes and best practices to boost competitiveness and increase monthly output.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 4 years of experience managing proposals for local, state, and federal government projects.
• In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes and contract vehicles, including RFP, RFI, RFQ, SBIR/STTR, IDIQ, GWAC, BAA, OTA, and CRADA.
• Strong familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FAR and DFARS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposal submissions simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in proposal writing and editing, including the ability to structure narratives that connect technical expertise to evaluation criteria.
• Excellent stakeholder partnership and interviewing capabilities — adept at earning trust, asking relevant questions, and transforming expert input into engaging prose.
