Property Claim Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Actively engage in structured training sessions that encompass insurance policies, specific claims processes, systems, and procedures, including virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training.

• Review, investigate, and document first-party property claims under close guidance.

• Collect information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.

• Learn to investigate and assess all pertinent facts and information.

• Determine and apply coverage for building damages in accordance with policy terms.

• Establish an accurate scope of damages for both building and contents losses, using this as a foundation for written estimates and/or computer-assisted estimates.

• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain precise records of claim activity within claim management systems.

• Exhibit a willingness to engage in continuous learning, especially in AI and digital transformation.

• Adapt to new technology implementations, system upgrades, and the rollout of digital tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.

• Willingness to acquire an active adjuster license where mandated by state law.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); open to learning claims management and estimating software.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities with the capability to convey information clearly and professionally.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions within established authority.

• Exceptional customer service skills and dedication to delivering a positive experience for insureds and claimants.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.

• Basic conflict resolution skills; willingness to learn techniques for facilitating constructive discussions and negotiations.

• Demonstrated openness to ongoing learning.
