Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding service to our policyholders by performing on-site inspections, assessing coverage, preparing estimates, and promptly and efficiently resolving claims.

• Manage virtual claims across the country, utilizing platforms and software such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.

• Specialize in water loss claims and ensure top-notch support and resolution for these particular cases.

• Embody empathy and uphold Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring.

• Conduct independent investigations on property claims and assess coverage.

• Review and negotiate claims settlements with clients and other stakeholders in line with legal and industry best practices.

• Employ various tools to accomplish tasks in a dynamic environment while guaranteeing timely and precise documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.

• Proficient in utilizing Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating purposes.

• Strong critical thinking and technical abilities to accurately assess damages and expedite claims settlements.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Capability to travel to customers' residences and effectively manage virtual claims nationwide.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Residency in Virginia Beach/Newport News/Norfolk or the VA Metro area is required for this position.

• A valid driver's license and readiness to travel as part of job responsibilities.
