Project Technical Lead – Front-End Specialist, Web Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical authority in Front-End and Web Performance, accountable for ensuring code quality, establishing development standards and best practices, and spearheading intricate projects related to front-end architecture, web performance, and data tracking/measurement.

• Oversee comprehensive projects, guaranteeing the technical quality of the solutions delivered, performing code reviews, assessing selected libraries and frameworks, and rectifying structural deficiencies such as integration between paid media and CRM, optimizing Core Web Vitals, and ensuring the integrity of the tracking ecosystem.

• Elevate the web performance benchmarks of applications, ensuring optimized load times that enhance user retention and conversion rates.

• Identify performance bottlenecks, suggest solutions, and supervise the implementation of improvements, validating their impact with measurable business metrics.

• Direct the technical integration between paid traffic platforms and internal systems, deploying advanced attribution solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated solid experience in advanced front-end development, with extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, and contemporary web application architectures.

• Capability to establish coding standards, perform code reviews, and guide other developers on front-end best practices (including componentization, accessibility, responsiveness, and technical SEO).

• Expertise in Web Analytics and Tracking tools and concepts, such as Google Tag Manager (including server-side), Google Analytics 4, Data Layer architecture, and offline conversion APIs.

• Background in web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, caching, CDN) with quantifiable effects on business metrics.

• Competency and necessity for using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) as an essential part of the workflow.

• Practical experience with unmanaged infrastructure, demonstrating the ability to operate and integrate solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven capability to independently tackle high-complexity problems without requiring constant technical oversight.

• Strong and straightforward communication skills to report on project status, risks, and obstacles directly to the board and operations management.

• A pragmatic, results-driven profile (Growth/MarTech), recognizing that technical quality should support increased sales and retention.

• The maturity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly adjusting to varying project scopes (integrations, performance, tracking, refactors) in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
