This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Leads client projects and events from the initial concept to the post-event evaluation.
• Manages a schedule of events with minimal daily oversight.
• Independently directs and oversees multiple projects.
• Collects event details and requirements from stakeholders, managing the planning and execution of events.
• Maintains the communication cycle with requestors, both internal and external.
• Collaborates with event delivery contributors to ensure the successful achievement of event objectives.
• Coordinates internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of approved events.
• Establishes project metrics, engaging all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Initiates updates, resolves issues, and identifies areas for process improvement.
• Clarifies first-party platforms and troubleshoots hardware as necessary.
• Works alongside the team to define and document material flow and standard operating procedures.
• Generates metrics and communicates them to internal stakeholders.
• Handles booking, scheduling, and expense reporting related to events and travel.
• Provides event support during peak periods, including unpacking, packing, transporting products, and assisting with the delivery and shipment of materials as needed.
• Prepares devices for distribution, including software updates, flashing devices, and troubleshooting.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university and 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Develops productive working relationships internally and externally.
• Exercises judgment within established procedures and practices to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Exceptional communication skills, including writing, proofreading, and verbal communication.
• Over 10 years of experience in telecom/network engineering, OSS platforms, or network operations.
• Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, optical transport, and telecom infrastructure.
• Experience with OSS/network inventory tools (e.g., Ericsson ENM, Nokia NSP, Oracle OSS, Bentley).
• In-depth knowledge of configuration management, discovery/reconciliation, and ITIL practices.
• Demonstrated ability to set standards, influence engineers, and drive process enhancements.
• Experience in regulated or utility environments is a significant advantage.
