Project Specialist – Client Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create client-focused strategies to enhance the customer experience and develop high-quality proposals that deliver savings for Waste Management (WM), WM Strategic Business Solutions (SBS), and our clients.

• Formulate and implement project plans in collaboration with functional managers and clients to facilitate proposal development and execution.

• Participate in projects aimed at optimizing customers’ services based on sales tiering data; evaluating haul weights for load maximization; performing regulatory reviews to ensure adherence to relevant recycling regulations; organizing site visits to evaluate customers’ waste management systems; and devising comprehensive waste management solutions for complex manufacturing sites.

• Possess the capability to analyze extensive data sets to uncover opportunities that enhance value for both our customers and stakeholders.

• Foster partnerships with internal and external clients through active listening, prompt responsiveness, and a proactive approach to delivering effective solutions.

• Collaborate with other WMSBS departments to ensure that timelines for bids, surveys, and proposals are achieved or surpassed.

• Monitor progress against critical deadlines and communicate any obstacles promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business, Engineering, Environmental or Earth Sciences, or another related field; alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED (accredited) along with four (4) years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience.

• Outstanding skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel proficiency.

• Familiarity with SharePoint and CRM systems.

• Experience with business intelligence software(s).

• Strong customer service and engagement abilities.
