
Project Sourcing Process Excellence Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a Lean vision and execute a Lean strategy aimed at minimizing operational complexity, reducing project execution time, and eliminating waste.
• Utilize GE lean training resources as both a methodology and a tool for enhancement.
• Spearhead the Lean implementation within sourcing and promote cross-functional outcomes.
• Lead and nurture Lean Facilitators.
• Assist in the early integration of Lean principles during the process development of new tools and methodologies.
• Create value stream maps for the organization and eradicate process waste through the application of Lean techniques.
• Advise sourcing teams in crafting and executing Lean plans to track and boost overall productivity while managing multiple value streams.
• Act as a recognized authority and resource leader in focus areas, process rigor, and achieving significant simplification outcomes.
• Initiate sustainable process enhancements to surpass customer expectations while leveraging lean strategies for ongoing process improvement.
• Educate the team on Lean concepts and mentor individuals in utilizing Lean tools.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Over 5 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a lean manufacturing setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean tools (such as Hoshin, 3P, VSM, Daily Management, etc.) and Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and implementing cultural change, especially in high-performance manufacturing settings.
• Strong capability to conduct root cause analysis, solve problems, and pinpoint opportunities for process improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification or equivalent quality certification is preferred.
• Formal Lean Certification or equivalent training in Lean methodologies is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment, fostering relationships across diverse teams and departments.
• Experience in managing multiple Lean projects concurrently, with a strong emphasis on achieving results within budget and on schedule.
