
Project Scientist/Engineer – Acoustic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with the Epsilon team on projects related to environmental licensing, permitting, and compliance.
• Manage various project tasks effectively.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Support community sound level measurement initiatives.
• Carry out meteorological data collection, conduct data analysis, perform shadow flicker analyses for wind turbines, engage in sound level modeling, and prepare reports.
• Participate in occasional fieldwork and may require overnight, out-of-state travel.
• 3-7+ years of experience within a consulting setting.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental or Physical Sciences, or Physics.
• Proficient in using sound level measurement and meteorological equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9613-2 sound modeling software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN).
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license for business travel purposes.
