Project Scheduler I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain program and project schedules using Primavera P6 and its later versions.

• Integrate contractor schedules and fragmented networks (fragnets) effectively.

• Participate in regular and as-needed meetings with managers and stakeholders.

• Generate routine and on-demand reports, including summary and lookahead schedules, key milestones, and baseline variances.

• Coordinate activities with other scheduling professionals.

• Evaluate schedules for potential compression opportunities and identify emerging problem areas.

• Load schedules with cost and resource information.

• Communicate promptly and effectively with clients and stakeholders.

• Follow the established Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), global codes, and templates.

• Publish schedules in PDF and other specified formats to designated locations.

• Work alongside stakeholders to develop and enhance templates.

• Integrate Primavera P6 data with other platforms such as K2, SAP, and IBM Planning Analytics.

• Assist the project management team in maintaining an efficient change management process, procedures, and systems.

• Conduct QA/QC checks on project schedules and alert Project Managers to any issues requiring resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited program, or equivalent years of experience.

• A minimum of 0-2 years of direct or relevant experience with a degree, and 2-4 years of direct or relevant experience without a degree.

• Familiarity with Primavera version 6 (P6) - an Oracle product.

• Proficient in Office 365 and SharePoint Online.

• Capable of communicating effectively with a diverse audience across various levels of education and expertise, both verbally and in writing; able to present to large groups; demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in one-on-one and group situations.
