This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
β’ Develop and sustain Primavera P6 schedules for transmission lines, distribution lines, and substation projects from initiation to closeout.
β’ Establish schedule baselines and coding standards that align with project scope, WBS, milestones, and any regulatory or contractual constraints.
β’ Conduct weekly, biweekly, and monthly updates on project status.
β’ Execute CPM calculations and carry out analyses on critical path, float, variance, and trends.
β’ Generate look-ahead reports and perform milestone tracking.
β’ Monitor schedule performance utilizing earned value metrics, including SPI and CPI.
β’ Assist in developing recovery plans when milestones are at risk.
β’ Distribute portfolio and project control reports for leadership and clients.
β’ Identify schedule risks, run what-if scenarios, suggest mitigations, and aid in change management.
β’ Conduct schedule QA/QC checks.
β’ Lead or participate in weekly schedule review meetings with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
β’ Communicate conflicts and recommend appropriate actions.
β’ Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to integrate Project Controls processes into RFPs and contracts.
β’ Review bidders' proposals for compliance with Project Controls and provide recommendations.
β’ Act as the Project Controls liaison during the contract award and execution phases.
β’ Ensure contractors adhere to agreed-upon scheduling, EVM, and delay-log processes, escalating any deviations.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls, Project Management, or Scheduling is required.
β’ Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
β’ Strong skills in Microsoft Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
β’ Familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM), float analysis, and schedule risk analysis is necessary.
β’ Experience working with contracts/RFPs is advantageous.
β’ Experience with large-scale capital projects in utility, construction, or infrastructure is highly valued.
β’ Procore experience is a plus.
β’ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities are required.
