This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze and convey contract quality requirements to project teams and supporting functions.
• Integrate lessons learned from past projects into proactive measures.
• Establish the quality assurance strategy and recognize project risks alongside the Project Director.
• Develop project quality plans and inspection and testing protocols.
• Disseminate quality plans and ensure adherence by project team members.
• Organize and facilitate quality inspections in collaboration with customers and the supply chain.
• Oversee the preparation and provision of quality databooks for components.
• Track project process performance metrics, including non-quality costs, product non-conformities, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys and address responses accordingly.
• Manage non-conformity reports effectively.
• Assist in the analysis and management of costs associated with non-quality, claims, containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
• Support site teams with quality documentation to ensure quality control aligns with client expectations.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles and tools.
• Relevant experience in project management.
• Experience in managing customer relationships.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada and North America.
• Experience in the hydropower sector is preferred.
• Professional engineering license is a plus.
• Fluency in French is desirable.
• Project Management Certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, urgency, autonomy, and ability to collaborate with various functions.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a multicultural and global environment.
