Project & Program Management II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• The Project & Program Management II position is accountable for organizing and overseeing all facets of internal information and system-specific projects from inception to completion.

• Projects typically encompass network, server, or software implementations and upgrades, as well as PC deployments.

• This role coordinates the work of IT personnel and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements and conducting feasibility and needs/impact assessments.

• The position entails developing comprehensive project plans and managing all implementation processes, including resource allocation, progress monitoring, change control management, testing, documentation, training, and ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.

• Projects may differ in number, size, and complexity.

• The role involves applying company policies and procedures to address a range of issues.

• The incumbent works on problems of moderate scope.

• General instructions are provided for routine tasks, while detailed guidance is given for new projects.

• The role involves managing multiple cross-functional and technical projects.

• Collaborate with functional teams during the initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and post-deployment phases.

• Responsible for tracking and managing program milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables.

• Engage in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reviews, process documents, and risk analyses.

• Participate in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.

• Drive project lifecycle milestones from concept commitment through project closure and champion change management.

• Utilize metrics and KPIs to assess project performance using suitable tools and techniques, providing regular status updates.

• Participate in internal process improvements by addressing gaps across multiple teams and functions.

• Ensure risks are identified and provide strategies for risk mitigation.

• Act as a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders.

• Coordinate and assist with regularly scheduled meetings with core teams.

• Take an active role in evaluating post-project outcomes against metrics, recommending or implementing changes to enhance delivery practices and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university, along with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to build productive working relationships both internally and externally.

• Exercise judgment within established procedures and practices to determine the appropriate course of action.

• Understanding of project management teams, conflict resolution, and meeting schedule timelines.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong documentation abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.

• A self-starter who can quickly learn new tools and adapt to new processes and technologies with minimal assistance.

• Experience in creating spreadsheets, presentation materials, and project/process documentation.

• Strong observational and analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with the ability to track and report metrics and manage risks.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives.
