📋 Description

• The Project & Program Management position oversees the planning and coordination of all elements involved in large-scale Data Center constructions and retrofitting, from inception to completion, including innovative Ai implementations that are unprecedented in both scale and design.

• This role facilitates collaboration among network engineers, data center technicians, and internal partners by establishing project requirements and conducting feasibility and impact assessments.

• The position entails the creation of comprehensive project plans and the management of all implementation processes, encompassing asset management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring of change control procedures, documentation, training, and ensuring timely delivery within budget limits.

• Manages a variety of cross-functional and technical network deployment projects.

• Collaborates with functional teams throughout the initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and post-deployment stages.

• Responsible for overseeing and tracking program milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables.

• Accountable for the management of assets and materials across data centers and warehouses.

• Engages in the creation and maintenance of thorough project documentation, including schedules, reviews, process documents, and risk analyses.

• Participates in defining project scope and objectives, involving all pertinent stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

• Involved in steering project lifecycle milestones from concept commitment to project closure while advocating for change management.

• Utilizes metrics and KPIs to assess project performance through appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status updates.

• Participates in internal process enhancements; addresses gaps across multiple teams and functions.

• Identifies and monitors risks, executing risk analyses and management techniques, and offering strategies for risk mitigation.

• Serves as a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders.

• Coordinates and leads regularly scheduled meetings with core teams.

• Actively evaluates post-project results against metrics; recommends or implements modifications to enhance delivery practices and processes.

• Other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university.

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.

• 2 to 5 years of project management experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting, ideally in support of data centers or network hardware.

• Over 2 years of experience with data center lifecycles and/or extensive networks.

• Develops productive working relationships internally and externally.

• Exercises judgment within established procedures and practices to determine suitable actions.

• Familiarity with project management teams, conflict resolution, and adherence to schedule timelines.

• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and documentation).

• Capable of managing multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.

• Self-motivated individual who can quickly grasp new tools and become familiar with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance.

• Proficient in creating spreadsheets, presentation materials, and project/process documentation.

• Strong observational and analytical abilities, including the capability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to track and report metrics and manage risks.

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives.

• Willingness to work across multiple North American time zones (remotely or from the local client office).
