This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Forge and oversee strategic alliances with Community College districts and CSU campuses to incorporate USGBC-CA training into established educational pathways.
• Create and implement regional strategies aimed at significantly boosting the number of trainees.
• Collaborate with academic departments to establish credit-bearing articulations or continuing education units (CEUs).
• Utilize extensive knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles to assess and enhance the training portfolio.
• Develop quality assurance metrics to ensure that trainees achieve the defined learning objectives.
• Spearhead the process to obtain certification and verification of USGBC-CA training by state workforce organizations.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to monitor enrollment and assess student mastery.
• Design clear pathways linking non-traditional students to specific technical certificates and green employer networks.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in program coordination, curriculum development, or partnership building within or alongside California Higher Education systems (Community Colleges and/or CSUs).
• Strong foundation in technical education, instructional design, and the development/validation of learning objectives.
• Proficient in LMS: Skilled in navigating digital learning environments to enhance trainee engagement and optimize the online learner experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale educational or workforce initiatives with ambitious annual enrollment or trainee goals.
• Knowledge of the processes required to obtain course certification, accreditation, or alignment with industry-recognized credentials (IRCs).
• Highly collaborative with a talent for fostering consensus among diverse groups (academics, corporate partners, workforce boards, and internal teams).
