This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of a single Needs Assessment project from inception to final handover.
• Facilitate the creation of essential Needs Assessment outputs, which include program scope and design considerations, operational, technological, and governance requirements, as well as assessments of cost, capability, and risk.
• Convert regulatory, client, and stakeholder requirements into a structured project plan, schedule, and delivery framework.
• Ensure that all deliverables adhere to established quality standards and are appropriate for regulatory or executive review, while managing interdependencies across workstreams to guarantee cohesive and timely delivery.
• Act as the main point of coordination for all stakeholders engaged in the Needs Assessment by organizing and leading stakeholder meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
• Keep detailed project plans, timelines, dependency trackers, and reports on deliverable statuses.
• Handle scope modifications in accordance with contractual and governance expectations.
• Aid in the systematic project close-out process, including the final handover of deliverables.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of project management experience in regulated settings, ideally in EPR, environmental compliance, or public-sector initiatives.
• Proven experience in conducting Needs Assessments, feasibility studies, program design, or initiatives aimed at regulatory readiness.
• Familiarity with working in regulated or EPR-related environments (such as environmental compliance, stewardship programs, or public-sector projects).
• A strong background in coordinating multiple interdependent deliverables across a variety of stakeholder groups.
• Experience collaborating with regulators, PROs, industry participants, and technical or operational subject matter experts.
• Capability to manage projects that have fixed timelines, defined scopes, and formal governance requirements.
