Project Manager – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee numerous technology projects and workstreams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Create and sustain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, delivery roadmaps, and status reports.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to guarantee successful project delivery.

• Track project advancement, proactively address risks, and ensure alignment with scope, priorities, timelines, and business goals.

• Assist in release planning, implementation tasks, and follow-up after launch.

• Act as the main point of coordination between business and technology teams.

• Conduct project meetings, discovery sessions, sprint planning, backlog reviews, workshops, and status updates.

• Relay project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders across all organizational levels.

• Convert technical concepts into business-friendly language and translate business needs into actionable project plans.

• Foster collaborative relationships across departments to promote alignment and effective execution.

• Work alongside business product owners to comprehend workflows, operational challenges, priorities, and desired outcomes.

• Partner with technical product owners and development teams on prioritization, backlog management, requirements refinement, delivery planning, and implementation.

• Aid discovery initiatives by documenting workflows, requirements, decisions, and success criteria.

• Ensure business requirements stay aligned with technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and scope changes.

• Formulate mitigation strategies, resolve delivery obstacles, and escalate issues with recommendations when necessary.

• Keep project documentation, governance artifacts, status reports, decision logs, and project communications up to date.

• Contribute to enhancing project management standards, delivery processes, reporting, templates, and operational workflows while promoting accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in project management, technology project delivery, product operations, business operations, or a similar field.

• Proven experience leading technology, software development, automation, data, infrastructure, or enterprise solution projects.

• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects that involve both business and technical stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, and delivery frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog management, and software development lifecycles.

• Experience in creating project plans, timelines, status reports, risk registers, and project documentation.

• Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects while paying attention to detail.

• Experience in media, advertising, analytics, AI, or technology-driven organizations is an advantage.

• CAPM, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or comparable project management certification is a plus.
