Project Manager – Staffing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Structure, update, and optimize the baseline and schedules of ongoing projects.

• Monitor the progress of three projects and compare actual performance against the planned schedule.

• Analyze the critical path using CPM methodology, identifying deviations, float, and activities that may jeopardize delivery dates.

• Proactively detect risks of delays and generate alerts and recommendations for management.

• Remotely coordinate with residents, engineers, and site supervisors to gather accurate information on the physical progress of each project.

• Establish effective routines and channels for follow-up with field teams.

• Prepare weekly executive reports on schedule progress, variations against the plan, critical activities, risks and deviations, and projections for milestone fulfillment and closure dates.

• Suggest corrective actions and planning adjustments when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PMP® certification issued by PMI; this is a mandatory requirement.

• Between 3 to 5 years or more of experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling construction projects.

• Experience in infrastructure projects, residential or commercial buildings, civil works, or large-scale renovations.

• Experience managing schedules for 2 or 3 projects simultaneously.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.

• Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), baseline management, variance analysis, date and milestone forecasting, and physical progress monitoring.

• Excellent communication and remote coordination skills.

• Reside in Mexico or any LATAM country and work in alignment with Mexico's schedule.

• Actual experience in construction and civil works; profiles whose main experience is exclusively related to software or IT will not be considered.

• Nice-to-have: experience using Zoho Projects and prior experience in remote construction project monitoring.

• Willingness and ability to learn to adopt Zoho Projects during the first week if there is solid experience in MS Project or Primavera P6.
