This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Provide assistance to the SOLV team for newly integrated PV Power Plants.
• Ensure optimal financial performance and adherence to contractual commitments.
• Negotiate cost-effective contracts for subcontractors and material purchases.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract stipulations, scope, and timelines.
• Foster relationships with Owners, subcontractors, SOLV teams, field teams, and stakeholders.
• Assist field teams in fulfilling contractual obligations, maximizing plant production and availability, and increasing fees.
• Oversee all aspects of facility onboarding processes.
• Deliver precise monthly cost and revenue accruals.
• Manage project Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and project expenditures.
• Approve accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate cost coding and expense verification.
• Accurately manage owner invoicing and ensure timely submissions.
• Communicate relevant issues to management.
• Manage, mentor, and lead project teams.
• Review contract terms and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Supervise the documentation of significant project occurrences, including incidents and Change Orders.
• Oversee the negotiation, preparation, and issuance of subcontract bid packages.
• Maintain quality control standards.
• Analyze industry best practices for operational systems.
• Ensure complete compliance with service obligations, laws, ordinances, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Large Generator Interconnection Agreements (LGIAs), land leases, and contracts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) best practices.
• Interface with project owners to improve customer satisfaction, communication, and reporting.
• Resolve systemic performance issues at the plant and provide root cause analyses with external resources.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for the Service team, achieving goals through collaboration.
• Act as the Project Management team executive for multiple team members and projects across North America.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to both internal and extended team members.
• Contribute to business and resource planning, project strategies, and development of new processes.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks.
• Coordinate with internal Directors across various project disciplines.
• Support portfolio planning, valuation, transactions, and the construction of new projects.
• Perform other assigned duties and special projects.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A degree in Business Management is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a project team.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and prioritize problems independently.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and monitoring software.
• Background in data analysis, modeling, and reporting using Excel and relevant databases.
• Proficient in office procedures, practices, and equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize and coordinate tasks.
• Superior time management skills with a focus on task prioritization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Capacity to endure heavy call and meeting days.
• Ability to frequently stoop, bend, crouch, reach, handle, sit, stand, walk, and lift 20 or more pounds.
• Constant ability to see details at close range and at a distance, as well as hear, talk, and possess depth perception.
• Occasional climbing and carrying; working near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high-risk areas.
• Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, electric shock, radiation, and toxic/caustic chemicals.
