Project Manager – Security Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the successful onboarding of new clients and lead pod initiatives for continuous deployment success.

• Assume full accountability for the delivery and activation of contracted services once transitioned from the sales team.

• Organize both internal and external resources for deployments that include Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Network, VOIP, and Audio systems.

• Supervise daily installation activities and serve as the communication bridge between clients and company operations.

• Report and document the status of assigned projects according to a predetermined schedule.

• Strategize overall deployment and implementation, which encompasses detailed phased deployment plans, target-date forecasts, and identification of site-specific tasks.

• Engage with customer representatives regarding project timelines and progress updates.

• Participate in both customer and internal meetings as well as conference calls.

• Detect inefficiencies and propose process enhancements.

• Coordinate labor, materials, and necessary permits.

• Drive project timelines to align with customer expectations and internal objectives.

• Collaborate with internal resources and ensure clear communication about their roles in the implementation process.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Tackle project challenges creatively and seek assistance when necessary.

• Provide customer training as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in managing or coordinating projects within the electronic security or telecommunications industry.

• An associate degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with telecom and networking terminology.

• Medium to advanced proficiency in Smartsheet.

• Experience with Microsoft Office software tools.

• Formal education and certification in project management are an advantage but not mandatory.
