This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct cross-team collaboration to ensure DEV/SIT/CAT environments are consistently available, stable, and ready for release/testing.
• Oversee environment change operations, including configuration, refreshes, access management, and deployments, adhering to governance and compliance standards.
• Generate and manage ServiceNow requests/incidents until resolution; open and monitor vendor support tickets and ensure timely problem-solving.
• Collaborate on patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system upgrades with security and infrastructure teams; monitor schedules, testing, risks, and escalation processes.
• Take charge of critical incident management for high-severity outages, encompassing triage, communication, restoration efforts, and post-incident follow-ups.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture diagrams, system/network specifications, and NCRB documentation.
• Ensure effective monitoring and alerting, manage ESM activities, analyze Splunk trends, and enhance system reliability.
• Identify and implement automation and AI-driven enhancements; advocate for cloud and supplier cost-optimization strategies.
• Proficient SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, and performance optimization, across platforms such as Oracle, Cloudera, DataStax, or similar.
• Practical experience with Linux/UNIX operations and shell scripting for troubleshooting, maintenance, and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Kafka/Confluent and various integration/data movement patterns, including topics, consumers, and validation processes.
• Experience in supporting DEV/SIT/CAT/PROD application operations in both on-premises and cloud settings.
• Expertise in handling ServiceNow incidents and requests; capability to manage vendor support escalations effectively.
• Monitoring and log analysis experience with Splunk Enterprise; knowledge of AppDynamics/Neustar and cloud monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as VersionOne and ALM platforms.
• Ability to create and maintain architecture diagrams, network specifications, and NCRB documentation.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; adept at leading incident response discussions and coordinating stakeholders under pressure.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a related field; if the degree is not applicable, an additional four years of related experience is required.
• Typically performs all functional responsibilities independently.
