Project Manager, Scrum Master – Data & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee several workstreams, convert technical specifications into actionable strategies, and act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Ensure effective project delivery by managing scope, timelines, risks, and resources while fostering collaboration among technical groups such as software engineering, cloud transformation, or data integration teams.

• A moderately hands-on approach to resolving technical issues will also be beneficial for troubleshooting and quality assurance.

• Establish robust client relationships that lead to new project opportunities.

• Participate in CompassX initiatives, which include recruiting, mentoring, and organizational development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Advanced degrees or certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe are preferred).

• 5–8+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles supporting data, analytics, or software engineering teams.

• Practical experience in implementing DevOps or MLOps methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, observability, incident response) for AI/ML workloads.

• Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or other regulated sectors is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with modern architectures (Lakehouse, vector search, semantic layers) and tools like Databricks and Jira.
