This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of gateway sites within the designated region, which includes conducting site surveys to evaluate technical, operational, regulatory, and infrastructure viability.
• Facilitate commercial and technical negotiations with hosting partners, landowners, and infrastructure vendors, fostering strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee regional RFP processes, encompassing requirements development, bidder coordination, proposal assessment, and support for contract negotiations.
• Carry out vendor due diligence and aid in the qualification, shortlisting, and selection of hosting and infrastructure partners.
• Manage zoning, planning, environmental, construction, and other permitting tasks, representing the company in discussions with municipalities, regulators, and utilities.
• Supervise the implementation of gateway infrastructure from contract award to completion, followed by handover to the internal delivery team.
• Coordinate project timelines, milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across various sites and vendors.
• Evaluate vendor performance and adherence to contractual, technical, quality, safety, and schedule requirements, including regular site inspections to confirm progress and workmanship.
• Proactively identify implementation risks and delays, leading the creation of mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Provide consistent and precise project updates to management and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain comprehensive and well-organized project documentation, which includes permits, acceptance records, and handover packages.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required; an advanced degree or professional licensure is preferred.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in project management related to infrastructure or industrial facilities.
• Experience in infrastructure development, telecommunications, satellite communications, data centers, utilities, construction, or a similar technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex infrastructure projects involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with site acquisition, site surveys, permitting, vendor selection, and the implementation of construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in managing competitive procurement or RFP processes.
• Strong comprehension of project planning, risk management, contract administration, and vendor management.
• Capability to effectively engage with local authorities, utilities, property owners, engineering firms, and construction contractors.
• Excellent commercial judgment, including the ability to evaluate vendor capabilities, financial stability, and delivery risks.
• Ability to work independently across various countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the designated region.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is advantageous.
• This role is highly field-oriented and necessitates frequent travel and regular on-site inspections throughout the designated region.
